Dump Point

The dump station behind the Roadhouse is being blocked from time-to-time.
So far, it has cost Progressing Cobden members nearly $3000 to have the unit unblocked which is very frustrating and not sustainable.

We simply can’t keep paying for it! Wipes, tissues, plastic and all things not able to be broken down to treated sewage status shouldn’t be dropped into the Dump Ezy.

If you push them through the grate, that will cost us (and the community) another $600 and,
ultimately, force the facility to be closed down – which will not help our town at all.

Essentially, the Dump Ezy is meant to help travellers emptying their canisters/cassettes, certainly not people wanting to dispose of large amounts of sewage containing who knows what!

Despite what their box/container says, wipes etc are not bio-degradable. They need to go in the bin next to the dump point.

Please help us monitor the dump station and educate everyone about its responsible use.
