Waste Facilities & Disposal Fees

Council owns and manages the Corangamite Regional Landfill at Naroghid and the Transfer Stations operating at Derrinallum, Port Campbell, Simpson, Skipton and Timboon.

When visiting any of Council's Waste Disposal facilities, patrons must ensure all loads are secure and all loose paper and plastic is bagged prior to disposal. Lighting fires and salvaging materials is not permitted unless authorised by Council. Asbestos, liquid wastes, volatile, explosive or flammable substances and medical/infected or prescribed waste materials will not be accepted and are prohibited substances.
