Lake Cobden
Lake Cobden's beauty is derived from its natural curvature, the mature trees around the lake edges, and the reflections which are available from all directions across the water.
It is a naturally fed waterway from the stream entering at the north end of the Cobden Golf Course. It also receives storm water run-off from the Cobden township.
The lake surrounds are maintained and enhanced by an enthusiastic group of volunteers who hold regular working bees.
There are many recreational benefits and opportunities of the lake and its environs, including:
- A walking track surrounding the lake.
- Three Cobden storyboards are located around the walking track.
- Fishing from the jetties.
- Canoeing/Kayaking.
- Barbecues.
- Picnic tables
- Community Events.
- Children's play equipment.
Toilet facilities are available in nearby Apex Park.
